Teaching Bruin how to spit off of the bridge into the water
On the way back we decided to take a different path because another hiker had told us it was a bit longer but less steep and since I couldn't imagine how I would possibly be able to do the steep hills, we opted to take the alternate route. Well it ended up being WAY longer and I think I was about to drop dead by the end. Luckily I have an amazingly strong husband who carried a sleeping Bruin all the way and found our car and drove back towards us so we didn't have to walk as far. It was still like a 3/4 mile uphill trail of switchbacks so we were sweaty and exhausted! I was just glad it didn't throw me into labor! (Maybe in 2 more weeks we can go do it again, with that intent...)
This was a little Indian Village they had set up at the beginning of the trail. It was so cool and I would love to go camp there this summer!
Currently the guys are golfing while Brittney, Bruin and I rest and then we're off to a yummy restaurant. They better get home soon cuz I'm starving!
