Shopping!

Yesterday I went shopping in I.F. for maternity clothes with my friend Aubree. It was Phil's dream come true because he thinks my clothes are boring and wants Aubree to be my personal shopper! So as I picked through the TJ Max and Ross racks I would pull out a piece of clothing I liked and ask Aubree if it was cute or not. She would let me know and I would keep it or put it back. It was great having my own fashion consultant! Thank you Aubree!

At the end of the day I ended up with about eight shirts that I can't wait to wear! It was a very interesting experience trying on clothes with a belly bump because NOTHING fit like I imagined it. Not one of the hundred pairs of pants and skirts I tried on were close to buttoning up! With no flattering dresses and no skirts, I am resigned to look ugly at church for the next four months. Hooray!

Easter Pics

Pictures from Easter. We ate soo good thanks to everyone's contributions. We had ham, potroast, potatoes, rolls, salad, fruit salads, cinnamon rolls, and a strawberry-nut dessert to pig out on. Once everyone recovered from the feast we played Scategories and Settlers of Catan. It was a great Easter and the guys didn't watch one basketball game or play nintendo. We love our friends!

March MADness

March Madness has made me and my girlfriends go mad. While our husbands zone out watching the games together and playing XBox Tiger Woods Golf every chance inbetween, we decided to leave them alone and go out for a girl's night in Idaho Falls. We treated ourselves to Olive Garden and put together Easter baskets for our men. Thank goodness for girlfriends during March Madness!

5 months

Just an update for all on my 5 month belly bump! Its fun to finally be showing, even if its just a little bit. The little critter is constantly rolling around in my tummy and I love it. Sometimes I sing to baby in the shower (Phantom of the Opera of course, I have to expose it to the arts!)

Clue Love

We've discovered a new passion for the game Clue on our Super Nintendo system. It was a game I always had but never played because I thought it'd be lame. Little did I know that this graphically-challenged game would keep Phil and I up til the late hours of the night, writing down notes and drawing diagrams to help keep the clues straight and hidden from each other. So far my Ms. Scarlet and his Mr. Green have been a pretty even match.

Our computer is crazy and will not let us load websites sometimes, including our blog! My updates will have to be done at school for awhile until we figure it out. Should we buy a new computer? That is the question right now. When I think about shopping for a computer I get overwhelmed!
Should we get a MAC? Should it be a desktop computer or laptop? Should we wait until Phil goes to grad school or will it crash and burn all of our files before then?.... Much to consider.

On another note, life is treating us well as we wind down our last 3 weeks of school. Phil is absolutely loving his job at the hospital and has his foot in the Marketing Department as well as the Human Resource Department and Conceirg work. Right now he is in the middle of planning a huge gala for the doctors and investors of the hospital, and its keeping him pleasantly busy.
We are now also counting down the days until my 2D Ultrasound appointment on Monday the 31st where we will get to find out if we're having a boy or girl! I can't wait to know so I can start planning ahead and buying things :)

Prego Workout

I went and worked out for the first time in, well...I'm too embarrassed to say. My friend Joy and I attended the Step Class on campus and it was very enjoyable (besides the abs parts where we just pretended to look like we were doing it). I think it has been too long since I have done anything that requires coordination because I felt so ridiculous and off beat most of the time! Now that I know some of the moves I think I'll look much cooler next class.

1st Wii Experience

Today I played a Wii for the first time and it was so fun! I actually won a game of tennis! (Beginner's Luck) The best was boxing Phil, even though my arms felt like JELLO afterwards! Joy and I decided that we could stay fit during our pregnancy just playing Wii games :)

Haircut

I finally got a haircut! This is the first time I have had my hair short since I was in elementary school. I have always wanted to but have always gotten scared. I was actually supposed to cut it shorter than this but chickened out at my hairdresser's :) Phil DID NOT want me to cut it because he loves long hair, but I think he likes it.

4 month belly

Four months along with only a little pooch to show for it... I'm very happy though to no longer be sick all day long! Yay! Now I just have headaches, which is much more liveable.

Big News

In December we got the big news that we were pregnant, and we were very excited! When we read the positive test I told Phil, "We don't know if I really am. These things are only 99.9% accurate." He makes fun of me to this day for that!

Status

Well here we are in our little apartment in Rexburg, ID. Right now Phil and I are finishing up our bachelor's degrees at BYU-Idaho and CAN'T WAIT to graduate in April!
