October is Cold

October has been kind of lame so far, I'm not gonna lie.  I've had a hard time coming up with things to keep these boys occupied.  Luckily they play so well together that whenever I'm being lame they just run around playing make believe with their ninjas and costumes.

One night after getting the idea from my sister April, we got a pizza at the park and then came home and made spider cookies.

For FHE this week we carved pumpkins.  Phil did a Frankenstein, I did an owl, and the boys choose a silly face.  It took some prodding but they did eventually clean the pumpkin out all themselves, Crew screwing up his face and saying "ewww" the entire time.

This weekend we are heading to Utah to spend Halloween with all the cousins.  I love living so close to my sisters, can't say it enough.

Then we head to California to see my parents for awhile.  Bruin is so excited he told me he was gonna cry when he gets to California because he's so happy.

Yay for escaping the Idaho cold creeping our way...!

It is That Day

The day has come for me to go private with our blog.

I know, I know. About 90% of you are saying, "Well Goodbye to the Caspers blog!"... If it doesn't come up on the Google Feeder then I don't look at it either.

But I just have to do it.  If any of you would like to be added to my approved readers leave your email under the comments and I'll send you an invite.

On a side note,  Phil got a letter from U of U this week saying he's been wait-listed for the interviews.  Which means his only chance of an interview is if a spot opens up  :(
But at least its not a flat out rejection letter like some of his friends got.

So if you can remember, say a quick prayer that Phil will get a chance to interview! We'll know by next week.

Thanks! Next post will probably be private.

Blocks

I had this pic on my phone from a few months ago that I'd forgotten about.

So one night Bruin built a big tower with his blocks and was really proud of it.  He begged us not to take it down while he slept that night, so we left it.

Well the next morning Crew was up first and started playing with the blocks.  At some point, Phil and I must have felt that parent alarm go off and we looked over to see Crew, totally unaware of the inevitable crash about to happen.

These aren't your average baby-friendly blocks.  They are heavy duty suckers.  Crew was slowly taking the blocks from the base to build his own tower.  One more block and we would have had a very sad Crew.

Funny kid
