Yesss

Bruin slept from 9:15pm-3:15am last night!! Then after eating he went right back down until 7am! I was thrilled! I got 8 hours of sleep- holy cow I feel spoiled :) I am hoping this is the start to better sleeping, but don't worry I won't get my hopes up just yet...

YAY Holly! That is so wonderful! It makes you feel like a whole new women when you get that extra long stretch of sleep! I was just reading your last post about the baby wise book. I wasn't so convinced by the book! Some things from the book were good but i dont like the crying thing either. I've always rocked Macie to sleep for her naps and bed times. And she sleeps great! (dont get me wrong she does have some bad nights, but thats just the life of having babies!) Dont stop rocking Bruin, I just think that it is such a sweet thing to do for your baby to help them feel safe and loved. But thats just me! Maybe im too much of a softie! My other advice would be to be relaxed with the schedule thing because there will be times when he will go through a growth spurt or something and need to eat more often than every three hours. I just think there is a definate happy medium to this book!
Anyways, sorry for this giagantic comment!
PS. Dont forget to give Bruin extra kisses for letting you sleep so long!

That is great! Now just put him in his crib when he is calm and sleepy and he should go right to sleep with out being rocked...or that's what Zack does. I didn't teach Zack that, I just don't have the patience to rock him all the time so he got used to it. :) I think I'll go buy that book tomorrow. Sounds great!
