My doctor took a look at the renal ultrasounds and explained what was going on by drawing me a diagram like this:
So basically my kidney has been filling up with urine because its blocked by something and to make matters worse a baby is sitting applying pressure to it all.... They could do a surgery by cutting through my abdomen and draining it, or going up through the urethra but no one wants to touch me cuz I'm pregnant. So as a result they just want to medicate me with as low of pain medicine as they can until I'm no longer pregnant, or the problem fixes itself with the antibiotics or passing of a stone. Now I have to strain my urine to watch for anything so wish me luck!

Holly I am so sorry that you've been so sick. That must have been so awful and scary! I"m glad that they've figured out the problem and that the baby is fine. I'll keep you in my prayers!
oh my goodness holly! Crazy stuff. Hope everything pans out. I love love love you! Prayers your way.
So everytime you pee you gotta strain it! Wow, that is a lot when you're prego.Lots of luck!
Oh, holly. This really stinks. I feel so bad for you to have to go through this while you are pregnant. I have someone in my ward that had major problems all during her pregnancy relating kidney's and stones. Let me know if you want me to find out anything more about it. Don't want to scare you, just want to help with info if i can.
Worse than labor?? Oh, my. Hang in there and I am going to start praying for you right now.
I'm so sorry that you are going through this!! I'm so glad you have support there though. I had three kidney infections, two in which I ended up in the hospital, in one year. But than again I wasn't 30 weeks pregnant either. Hang in there and I hope those antibiotics work soon.
Hey that is the same thing that happened to me when I was at BYUI and I had to have surgery...It is so painful! Feel better!
Oh you poor girl! That would be miserable. The only positive I see coming from this is that you can confidently go through labor without pain meds because you've have worse. :) I hope everything goes well.
Holly! Oh my heck! That is horrible! This is certainly not something you really need right now, with just a couple months to go until a new member of your family arrives! Well, hang in there! try to relax, dont worry about the housework or cooking, let Bruin run around like a wild man, have phil give you a massage, and that just leaves.... STRAINING YOUR URINE.....eeeeekkk! dont know how to get out of that one! ;) good luck!
