My boy loves his tools. When he was little he would often be seen carrying around a hammer or a wrench. I finally made him a tool belt so he could have them with him all the time and he thought he was in heaven.
He also loves Chevron cars. They are big and sturdy. They've stood the test of time for the last 9 years and he is actually playing with them right now.

I always wanted to hold off on getting the kids guns to play with but last year we gave in and got them guns and cowboys hats. What a hit. They love the guns..by far the most played with along with the metal dump trucks they got a few years ago. They also like their tools because whenever they think derek is doing something they run up and get the toy hammer and srew driver.
Christopher loves his Nerf Guns(so does his mom), matchbox cars, action figures and his drum set. He is so hard to shop for because you never really know what he likes. The girls are easier to shop for. Polly Pocket, hair stuff, jewelry, clothes, etc!
